Notes: Gilman won its fifth consecutive MSA Championship. City which placed 2nd had been unable to practice since Feb 2 because of a Baltimore City teachers strike. City had been unbeaten on the year while Gilman was 4-6 in dual meets.
Greg Hudak of Loyola was named most valuable wrestler. Brian Neiburhr of Mount St. Joe won the first individual title for MSJ since 1964.
An MSA record attendance of 1300 fans were present. The most in the history of the MSA.
