2018 Maryland High School Post Season Competition
Post Season:
Due to a lack of interest from coaches, wrestlers, etc…the traditional season ending high school event has been cancelled
FYI—all 32 private schools were asked if the event should be continued—only one coach even responded, and that was with a resounding ‘absolutely not’
Here’s the issue–‘most’ kids don’t want to participate, for a few reasons—risk of dropping in the rankings; they’ve just had enough; the see no value ‘Most’ coaches see it as nothing more than a hassle
Spectators barely show up. I was told 200 last year
The host is not interested in hosting anymore
